Amazon’s Amp Live-Radio App Debuts With ‘Tens of Millions’ of Songs
Amazon just recently released a beta version of Amp as well as a website for the platform, which is currently issuing sign-up codes in its social-media bios and elsewhere. “The only true equipment you need” to go live with a radio show, higher-ups explained, “is Amp on your iPhone.” (The company doesn’t “have a hard date” for an Android rollout, but this version of the app “is coming.”)

TikTok just launched its own music distribution platform, SoundOn
The ByteDance-owned viral video app has just launched its own promotion and music distribution platform, called SoundOn. SoundOn is already Live in the UK, US, Brazil and Indonesia, and it lets artists upload their music directly to TikTok and RESSO. It can also distribute their music to other platforms like Spotify, Apple Music and Instagram.

YouTube is reportedly paying podcasters to film their shows
YouTube is reportedly offering money to podcasters in a bid to get them to create video versions of their shows, according to a report from Bloomberg. People close to the situation told Bloomberg that YouTube is offering individual shows $50,000 and up to $300,000 for podcast networks, potentially to fund filmed episodes and other video-based content.
