IFPI: Recorded music revenue rose 9.7% globally in 2018 driven by paid streaming

Paid streaming accounted for 37% of total global recorded music revenue in 2018, according to the IFPI Global Music Report 2019, which also shows that total streaming revenue grew by 34% and accounted for almost half (47%) of all global revenue. Meanwhile, physical revenue declined 10.1%, while download revenue was down 21.2%.
