The House of Commons has triggered a parliamentary review of Canada’s Copyright Act, to be conducted by the Standing Committee on Industry, Science and Technology. The music industry was quick to weigh in, congratulating government ministers and making it known that the so-called Value Gap, will be high on the agenda.
