According to fresh stats from the RIAA, US retail revenues generated by subscription streaming platform leapt up by an off-the-charts 114% last year to brush $2.5bn.

One of the biggest challenges facing copyright owners in grappling with the rapid development of generative AI technology, apart from a murky legal status, has been market failure, as discussed here in previous posts.
