A coalition of 15 music organizations representing creators and companies has submitted comments to the U.S. Copyright Office about the safe harbors in the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and why they’re not working for the music business.

One of the biggest challenges facing copyright owners in grappling with the rapid development of generative AI technology, apart from a murky legal status, has been market failure, as discussed here in previous posts.
